Wisner is located in Cuming County and is only a thirty-minute drive east of Norfolk along Highway 275, and fifteen minutes north of West Point, making it an ideal place to live for those who work in the larger cities. Residents enjoy a multitude of unique activities such as the popular St. Patrick's Day Celebration, and Junior Livestock Show and Rodeo, or fun summer activities such as mud volleyball and Thunder By the River, a National tractor pull held in August each year.
